What is an elopement?
Traditionally, elopements usually involved a couple running away without telling anyone to get married in secret. Luckily these days, the idea of eloping has expanded, and now it’s more about two people just choosing to celebrate each other in a way that feels true to them. Sometimes that means there’s just the two of them there (with two witnesses) and other times that means the wedding is just really small with less than 20 people, but somewhere beautiful and magical that expresses their love.
Whichever way you choose to do things, when you elope it gives you a great chance to celebrate what and who matters most of you without a bunch of extra planning and money spending, and that can just add to an already magical moment in time.
